Taco John’s® Hiawatha, IA Grand Opening Golden Ticket Sweepstakes is a chance for Participants to win one (1) of fifty (50) Golden Tickets for free Potato Olés® for a year to only be used at the Hiawatha, IA location. Limit one Free Small Potato Olés® per day. Not good with any other offer. Participation in this giveaway constitutes your acceptance of and agreement to abide by these Official Rules. Sponsor: The Golden Ticket Sweepstakes is sponsored by Taco John’s International, Inc. P.O. Box 1589 Cheyenne WY 82001, 307-635-0101 (“Sponsor” or “Taco John’s”).
Eligibility: The Golden Ticket Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of Iowa who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. No purchase is necessary. A purchase does not improve your chances of winning. Void where prohibited.
No groups, clubs, newsletters or organizations can participate in this Sweepstakes on behalf of the group, club or organization. Employees, directors and officers, and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses), and their respective household members (whether related or not), of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, franchisees and its advertising and promotion agency Lawrence & Schiller, and all others who are associated with the design, execution, production, development, and advertising of this Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes Parties”) are not eligible to enter.
Sweepstakes Period: Entries will be accepted online starting on June 17, 2019 at 12:00 a.m. and no further entries will be accepted after 11:59 p.m. CST on June 23, 2019.
How to enter: No purchase is necessary to enter. You (“Participant”) may enter one (1) time by submitting your email address at https://tacojohns.com/hiawatha (“Entry”). Only one (1) entry will be accepted per email address. Odds of winning depend on the cumulative number of entries received on or before the drawing date during the Sweepstakes Period. Determination of a valid entry shall be in the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
Random Drawing/Winners: A total of fifty (50) winners will be drawn at random by a representative of Lawrence & Schiller, on approximately June 24, 2019, after the Grand Opening of the Taco John’s in Hiawatha, IA. Winners will be notified via the email address they submitted as their entry within 48 hours of time the winner is chosen. The winner is required to go to the Taco John’s in Hiawatha, IA to receive their Golden Ticket.
Winners may not substitute or transfer all or any part of a prize. If a prize is lost or stolen, Sponsor is not required to replace it. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash. Winners will only be notified by email. Failure to claim the prize within seven (7) days of email notification (or if a winner chooses to decline a prize for any reason, or fails to comply with any requirement of these Official Rules) may result in the prize being forfeited. An alternate winner may be drawn, but Sponsor is not obligated to do so. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable, or inability of Sponsor to contact potential winner may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner from among all eligible entries received.
Prizes: Fifty (50) winners will receive one (1) Golden Ticket for one (1) small free Potato Olés® every day for one (1) calendar year.
Approximate retail value per Golden Ticket (ARV): $102.96. This is a good faith determination of the ARV by Sponsor. In the event of a difference between the ARV and the actual value, winner will not receive the cash equivalent.
Total ARV of prizes: $5,148
Privacy: Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its designees to use winner’s name for advertising and promotional purposes in any and all media as determined by Sponsor, without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law. All information collected will be treated in a manner consistent with Sponsor’s privacy policy found at https://tacojohns.com/privacy-policy/.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: All Participants by entering this Sweepstakes, and winners by acceptance of a prize, agree to release the Sponsor from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with submitting an entry or otherwise participating in any aspect of the Sweepstakes, the receipt, ownership or use of any prize awarded, or while preparing for, participating in or traveling to or from any prize-related activity or any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or in the announcement or offering of any prize. Sponsor makes no representation or warranty of any kind concerning the appearance, performance or safety of any prize. Winner bears all risk of loss or damage to prize after it has been delivered.
LEGAL WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER OR NOT A PARTICIPANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE, DESTROY, TAMPER OR VANDALIZE THE APP OR INTERFERE WITH THE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND DILIGENTLY PURSUE ALL REMEDIES AGAINST ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Choice of Law/Venue: This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, and all claims must be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts in the State of Wyoming.
Miscellaneous: Taco John’s reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify this Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failure or any other unanticipated factor or factor beyond its control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Taco John’s in its sole discretion. Taco John’s reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
A Winner of a Grand Opening Golden Ticket is expressly prohibited from receiving more than one (1) free small Potato Olés® on any given day following the issuance date from the Grand Opening Golden Ticket.
Opt-Out: By entering this Sweepstakes, you agree that information collected from you may be used for future mailings (via U.S. mail, e-mail or mobile) by Sponsor regarding its products and services including current offers and promotions, in addition to being used for the purpose of the prize drawings and to notify winners.
