Millions of dollars for hundreds of causes.
That’s how much Taco John’s® has contributed to local organizations since we launched TJ® Gives back in 1995. Better yet, local franchisees have the freedom to select the cause they want to support. We call it hyper-local giving. Here are some examples.
CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK
Every time someone in Sioux Falls, Aberdeen, Brookings, Chamberlain, Huron, Madison, Watertown, Milbank, Canton, Vermillion, Yankton, Mitchell and Pierre orders Nachos Navidad, a portion of the proceeds go to Children’s Miracle Network through Sanford Hospital.
In Scottsbluff, Gering, Chadron and Alliance, Taco John’s is supporting the United Way of Western Nebraska. The promotion partnership started five years ago.
In St. Joseph, MO, “Crunch for a Cause” is raising money for the Salvation Army and its Red Kettle Campaign.
Special Olympics Iowa has partnered with Taco John’s for seven years. Restaurants in Sioux City, North Sioux City, South Sioux City, Cherokee, Le Mars, Sheldon, Spencer and Storm Lake are participating.
HOPE AND COPE
In Princeton, KY, proceeds from the sales of Nachos Navidad are going to the HOPE and COPE Centers of Caldwell County School District.
WINONA VOLUNTEER SERVICES
Taco John’s of Winona is joining the citywide ‘days of giving’ campaign. Money raised will help support Winona Volunteer Services.
ROCKFORD RESCUE MISSION
For the fifth year in a row, money raised through the sales of Nachos Navidad in north central Illinois is going to the Rockford Rescue Mission.
Vacations for Warriors
Along the Front Range in Northern Colorado, proceeds from the sale of Nachos Navidad® are going to Vacations for Warriors, a non-profit organization that sends wounded military personnel and their families on much needed vacations to places like Hawaii. Taco John’s restaurants in Fort Collins, Greeley, Windsor, Sterling, Loveland, Fort Morgan, Longmont, Wellington and Lamar, CO are participating as well as Wheatland, WY and Rockford, IL.
Blankets for Laramie County Kids
In Cheyenne, WY, each order of Nachos Navidad is helping raise money for Blankets for Laramie County Kids. In addition to the cash donation, employees at the Taco John’s Support Center (national headquarters for the brand) created several handmade blankets for the organization.
